I gladly welcome special orders so if you see something you like let me know. I can`t promise it to be exact as anything made by hand will always be a bit different, but it will surely be close and of the same quality.
Feel free to email me at email@example.com
The home that was chosen to be the recipient of the Extreme Home Makeover in our area will air this evening. The girls enjoyed watching them build this beautiful home for the deserving family. I can`t wait to see what they did with the inside.
Wow the weather here has been gorgeous and I just love having the windows open and the fresh air flowing in. With Fall moving in starts the new tv line up season. I can`t wait to see Mike and Molly, that looks like it could be a good one. Of course Greys Anatomy will be playing here every thursday night. I can`t wait for that one! A few other of my fav`s are Gary Unmarried, The Adventures of the old Christine and Rules of Engagement.
How about all of you. What are some of the shows your looking forward too? Oh yeah by the way the Extreme Homemakeover that took place a town over from me is scheduled to air on october 3rd for those of you who would like to see it.
On another note I just updated my ebay with 2 new dolls. Here`s a sneak peek at them.
Yay it`s friday. So glad the weekend is here. I`m not sure how I will spend it yet, but know that I`ll be sleeping in tomorrow. Can you believe the leaves are already starting to change colors :( Not that I should complain. My friend Nancy lives in Canada and has experienced 35 degree temps and snow. Yup you heard me right....SNOW. Crazy right. So yes I`ll enjoy the changing of the leaves and cooler temps.
With the changing of the leaves so rich and beautiful I decided to create Addie in a great fall homespun dress. She`s more of a prim girl compared to my others, but she too has lots of character.
and then there`s Faith the angel. She sure is sweet.
You may find them both on my ebay. Here`s wishing you all a fabulous weekend!
With the new Country Sampler out got me thinking Christmas. I know I know it`s early we haven`t even gotten to Halloween yet. I was thinking the same thing, but thats whats already on the cover! Each year everything seems to rush along at a faster pace.
I decided to whip up some sets of Primitive star ornies. Although they would look perfect trimming that prim Christmas tree I thought they would look just as charming year round hanging off a cupboard or tucked inside a dough bowl. I listed one set on my ebay and another in my KSGP Shoppe. If you should need more then one set feel free to email me, I`d be more then happy to whip up another set.
What are some of your favorite ornaments? What themes do you decorate in for the holidays. I`d love to hear from you.
Happy sunday everyone. It`s seems to be a gloomy day here in NY. No sunshine to be seen :( That makes a perfect day to complete 2 doll projects that I have started. Here`s a peek at what you may find at my ksgp shoppe. Be sure to check out what the other gals have too!
I can`t believe we`re wrapping up the summer season. I`m always so sad to see it go. My girls went back to school this week, but are already off today and tomorrow for the jewish holiday. Happy New Year to all of you who are celebrating!
There`s alot of changes that are taking place here. I`m starting a new job this coming week in a school the next town over. It`s only part time and for a monitor position, but given the state of the economy I need to have a steady paycheck and we all know how ebay can go up and down. I`m excited though to be back out and working with people after being home bound for the last 10 years. I also registered to take CNA (certified nursing asst) classes that will begin in February. It will be night classes so thats not to bad. I`ve always wanted to work in the medical field so this will be my first step in that direction. So change is good!
I will still make time to create dolls maybe just not as many, but they`ll still be out there. I just completed this gal. I`m not quite sure yet what her name will be, but you can find her on my ebay this evening. I hope you`ll stop by for a peek. Well off to head outside and enjoy the much cooler temps today. We`re only in the 70`s....ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Why Hilda of course! She made it all this way on her broom. I was surprised she made it through Earl, but the tropical storm that hit didn`t end up being bad at all. Well you know how those weathermen can be ;) She was glad it didn`t hinder her flight.
I love the way this witchy turned out. She was made by me using a Pineberry Lane pattern. I`m kinda liking this more prim of a look, but will still make my other girls. You may find her over on my ebay. Here`s a sneak peek at her:
I hope all on the east coast are safe and sound this morning. Wishing you all a fabulous holiday weekend!
You see it started over at Bev`s blog. She was excited about the birth of her twin grandbabies and wanted to host a guess the babies birth weights. Well of course I just had to play. I was pleasantly surprised to hear I was one of the two winners! Bev`s grandbabies are beautiful healthy babies. Enjoy spoiling them Bev! Thank you for all my goodies and the bird box is gorgeous!
I managed to squeak out another creation this week. Her name is Abigail. She`s just so sweet wearing her nightie carrying her torn and tattered bear. You can tell that guy is surely loved. You may find her over on my ebay. Here`s a peek at her.
I also wanted to share with you a fabulous crafters blog I stumbled upon. Tons of free tutorials to see. I for one want to make the retro apron. I just love that! Have fun strolling the pages.
I came across this wonderful pattern from Pinberry Lane and knew it was one I just had to make. It`s more of an extreme prim doll compared to what I normally make, but I just love her. She will be listed on my ebay this evening. Here`s a sneak peek.
Hi everyone, This week I was able to get 2 dolls done and listed on my ebay. There`s been some changes around here and I will begin working back outside the home. The state of the economy is just horrible and well here we can really use the second income. I will still squeeze in some time for handmades. Here`s what I am offering this week:
How exciting to learn that Extreme Home Makeover addition was in our area. Of course I couldn`t pass up taking the girls there to witness the progress. I just wish I could have been a helping hand in the festivities, but it was the same time my parents came to stay with me for 2 weeks from FL.
The lucky family was a 36 year old female who has taken in 6 of her adoptive down syndrome siblings after her parents passed away. She also is a brain cancer survivor. It was amazing to watch the progress and how many helped and how quickly they really do get those homes done. It will be premiering the second week of the new season. I know for sure I`ll be tuning in. I can`t wait to see what the inside looks like. Here`s some pics I took that I`d love to share with you all.
I came upon this post on Doreen`s blog today. I think this is a wonderful idea and would love to see it blossom fully. I've totally committed to this "Giveaway". (I'm para-phrasing the guidelines below in quotes)
"The idea is that random acts of kindness are given without expecting anything in return. Just passing on the kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same and forming a never-ending chain of kindness.
That's what this is about. But it isn't only kindness it is also a means to connect with our fellow crafters. To network if you will and to spread our work (instead of having it sit in our house where only friends and family get to see it).
And this is how it works:
You'll have to comment on this post and the first 3 people who comment will receive a handmade gift from me within the next few months. But those 3 commenters will also have to post the idea on their blog and commit to making a gift for the first 3 people who comment on their post and so on and so forth."
If you don't have a blog - simpy send along something to 3 people you know that would benefit from a random act of kindness and ask them to return the favor to 3 other people etc.
This is going to be a fun and rewarding experience! So please pass on the word and spread some kindness!
Hi everyone~ It sure has been a while since I have added anything to my etsy listing. So I figured lets see how it goes. I have added 2 black creations and one Raggedy Annie. I hope when you have a moment you`ll pop over and see whats there. Click here.
Boy have we been hit with some heat here in our neck of the woods. With summer in mind I decided to whip up some Ice cream Annie`s. I just love these gals and purchased the pattern from Maureen of Sweet Meadows Farm. Oh the ice cream truck memories, I must confess my brother and I could be a pain in the ice cream mans rear. When we felt mischievious we would hide waiting behind bushes to hear the ringing of his bell, when we knew he was just about in front of us we would yell "Hold it". Of course we lay waiting until the coast was clear to come out. The poor guy probably had to endure that a few times throughout his day. Thanks for the memories Brian!
With childhood memories in mind here are my Ice cream Annies up for auction on my ebay. Here`s a sneak peek at the gals.
KSGP is having an Addams Family themed challenge debuting this evening. We would like to welcome you all to stroll on by our ebay listing this evening to take a peek at our Addams Family creations. I for one can`t wait to see all the creations. These gals never disappoint. Click here to view auctions.
I played with paper clay for these creations. Here is my 2 offerings:
Wow it sure has been quite sometime since I`ve updated my blog. I`m sure I like most of you have been cleaning up the yard and getting the gardens all prettied up for spring. I just noticed today that my peonies are just about ready to open. I can`t wait. Unfortunately they don`t seem to stick around long enough. One really windy day and thats all it takes. Thats why I`m relieved they haven`t opened yet. Today is cool and windy as well. Soon enough that hot sunny weather will be rolling in.
I did manage to create and list 2 angel bust doorgreeters over at my ebay. Well the Americana one will be added this evening. I`m hoping to get started on some more new things tomorrow. I hope when you have a moment you`ll head on over and take a peek.
Also be sure to stay tuned as the KSGP group will be having an ADDAMS FAMILY launch scheduled to debut on the 26th. So be sure to type KSGP into your search bars to see what the girls have created.
Ok I know I said the daisy would be the last, but I`ve really enjoyed making them and couldn`t leave out a Black Eyed Susan. Thank you to my friend Mary for suggesting I create one for my next offering. She will be going on my ebay today. I`ll also be adding another dollie named Tille so be sure to take a peek at her as well.
