I can`t wait to play around with my pink and night sky colored ones .Hmmmmmmm what to do next ;)

Under the Boardwalk......

Well I`ve been feeling less the energized when working on some of my dolls and felt the need to do something different for a change. So today I sketched up and sewed a few of these fella`s.

The inspiration for these came from the desire to re do my bedroom over into the beach/ cottage theme. I`m hoping maybe after making a few of these it will head me into that direction ;)
To me there`s no more relaxing place to be then sitting on the beach under beautiful blue skies.......

Phew it sure has been a long weekend....

It sure has gotten quite chilly here this weekend. Fall definately has arrived. I spent the day quite chilly here in the house as we don`t want to put the heat on yet with the price of oil...yikes! So I plan on waiting to do it, although we did drag the kerosene heater into the living room today.....LOL

Heres a little something to keep you all feeling toasty :)

With all the ebay layoffs going on right now alot of folks are afraid soon they will be doing away we the ebay groups. Today I spent the day searching out other engines so if that should happen all the friends I have gained in KSGP I will be able to keep and converse with. They are just like family to me, some I`ve known now for years and would be lost without them! So we now have our back up safety net :)

The economy has become quite a scary thing and I sure hope things start looking better for us all soon.

I did manage to get another dollie made and listed on ebay. Her name is Celie.
Here`s a peek at her:

if you like her you can check her out

Monkey bread...

Heres a simple recipe thats made lickety split and the kids love it. Now remember I didn`t say it was nutritional ;)

INGREDIENTS
3 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough (pillsbury will do, I use the four pack)
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup raisins (I leave these out)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 or 10 inch tube pan.
Mix white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in pan. If using nuts and raisins, arrange them in and among the biscuit pieces as you go along.
In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over the biscuits.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Do not cut! The bread just pulls apart.

Enjoy!
