Primitive Stars...

With the new Country Sampler out got me thinking Christmas. I know I know it`s early we haven`t even gotten to Halloween yet. I was thinking the same thing, but thats whats already on the cover! Each year everything seems to rush along at a faster pace.

I decided to whip up some sets of Primitive star ornies. Although they would look perfect trimming that prim Christmas tree I thought they would look just as charming year round hanging off a cupboard or tucked inside a dough bowl. I listed one set on my ebay and another in my KSGP Shoppe. If you should need more then one set feel free to email me, I`d be more then happy to whip up another set.

What are some of your favorite ornaments? What themes do you decorate in for the holidays. I`d love to hear from you.

Hi Kelly,

I have three trees I decorate for the Christmas holiday.. and they all have different themes... one is a small feather tree and it has little breakable old fashioned looking ornaments ( fruit, etc ) and it seems I have broken all the most expensive *Old World* ones !

Another tree has prim ornaments..birds, mittens, etc.

And my main tree has mostly a white, somewhat glittery decor. ( Birds, pine cones, etc ) And lots of white crocheted snowflakes, most of which came from craft shows. I had chosen this theme when I had lived down south in Georgia and there wasn't any snow and I have more or less stuck with it even though I really do not like s n o w any more ! LOL I also have now a bit of red in it and tuck in some old vintage glass ornaments throughout along with Christmas cards, some of my children's and grandchildren's handmades and a few I have made.

So it is a hodge podge of this and that..

Hugs,
Linda

Linda,

Your home must be beautiful come the holidays. Sorry about the most expensive ones...yikes isn`t that how it always happens.

I`m with you not a fan of the snow at all, but I`m sure that tree is just beautiful!

You sound like you have the perfect variety. I have one tree, but maybe this year I`ll add a 2nd :)

Mine is mostly handmades with just a few glass and engraved ones on the tree. I also stick in some white branches.

Thank you for sharing!
Hugs,
Kelly
