Extreme Home Makeover was in our area!!

How exciting to learn that Extreme Home Makeover addition was in our area. Of course I couldn`t pass up taking the girls there to witness the progress. I just wish I could have been a helping hand in the festivities, but it was the same time my parents came to stay with me for 2 weeks from FL.

The lucky family was a 36 year old female who has taken in 6 of her adoptive down syndrome siblings after her parents passed away. She also is a brain cancer survivor. It was amazing to watch the progress and how many helped and how quickly they really do get those homes done. It will be premiering the second week of the new season. I know for sure I`ll be tuning in. I can`t wait to see what the inside looks like. Here`s some pics I took that I`d love to share with you all.

I came upon this post on Doreen`s blog today. I think this is a wonderful idea and would love to see it blossom fully. I've totally committed to this "Giveaway".

I`ve finally updated my etsy!

I enjoyed making those Ice cream Annie`s so much that I decided to make and add 2 more Annie`s to my ebay auctions. The first one is a cupcake Annie and the second one Cherry Annie.






They will be listed on ebay this evening. Hmmm what to work on next.......Stay tuned to see what creations will follow.

I Scream,You Scream, We all scream for Ice Cream!

Boy have we been hit with some heat here in our neck of the woods. With summer in mind I decided to whip up some Ice cream Annie`s. I just love these gals and purchased the pattern from Maureen of Sweet Meadows Farm. Oh the ice cream truck memories, I must confess my brother and I could be a pain in the ice cream mans rear. When we felt mischievious we would hide waiting behind bushes to hear the ringing of his bell, when we knew he was just about in front of us we would yell "Hold it". Of course we lay waiting until the coast was clear to come out. The poor guy probably had to endure that a few times throughout his day. Thanks for the memories Brian!

Angels on Ebay

Wow it sure has been quite sometime since I`ve updated my blog. I`m sure I like most of you have been cleaning up the yard and getting the gardens all prettied up for spring. I just noticed today that my peonies are just about ready to open. I can`t wait. Unfortunately they don`t seem to stick around long enough. One really windy day and thats all it takes. Thats why I`m relieved they haven`t opened yet. Today is cool and windy as well. Soon enough that hot sunny weather will be rolling in.

I did manage to create and list 2 angel bust doorgreeters over at my ebay. Well the Americana one will be added this evening. I`m hoping to get started on some more new things tomorrow. I hope when you have a moment you`ll head on over and take a peek.
