Thank you for your prayers.

Sadly my father passed away on January 31st. I miss him dearly and life will never be the same without him. Not a day goes by that I don`t think of him. I was just getting back into doll making the day before the accident and had just listed some dolls. Of course my drive to create was crushed and lost, but my dad loved my dolls and always commented "it`s all in the eye`s". He was even given me some theme suggestions. Its funny thinking back... as soon as I had a doll listed on ebay dad was at home pulling it up to see it. You see my dad was a crafter himself. He taught himself many moons ago how to create stained glass pieces and many adorn my home today......true treasures! He also began woodworking after retiring from the police department. He was a true inspiration in many ways. A gentle soft spoken man. Never giving his advise unless asked for, never wanted to intrude on anyones life. I find myself thinking like he would think, even asking myself hmmmm what would dad say or think, but honestly I`ve always done that. Yup always looked up to him. I want to try and get myself back into creating again. I think it`s time.

I am so sorry Kelly to hear of the loss of your Dad. It is good you feel like creating again. It is good therapy and I bet it will make you feel more like your Dad is right there with you, encouraging you along.
Big hugs,
Kimberly

Hi Kimberly,

Thank you. Yes I agree that it could be theraputic. I have already scrapbooked an album in his honor. Thats was helpful the first few weeks.

How have you been? How have the cabins been treating you? Ice fishing season will be upon us before you know it. Not that I`m trying to rush it, the weeks just seem to go by so quickly especially when the weathers nicer.

It was so nic to hear from you.

Hugs,
Kelly
