My first Cloth and Clay doll....

I learned so much from Jane aka Grittyjane`s workshop on cloth and clay dolls. I wanted to share my very first doll with you all. I had a blast making her and look forward to doing some more.


Jane was a wonderful teacher. I highly recommend her class to anyone who would like to create their own cloth and clay doll!grittyartsstudio

Brrrrrrrr...Baby it`s cold outside!

Phew is it a bone chillin day today. Well theres an upside to that it kept me indoors and at work! I started these two girls:



They`re beggin` me to get some hair on their heads and clothes on their backs! Shhhh don`t tell them, but I need to purchase me some more sheeps wool ;) UT-OH I think I just heard a gasp from one of them.....Ok off to go in search of some hair!

An Angel in waiting....

Well this gal sat on a table in my bedroom faceless for the past year just begging me to give her some life. Does anyone else do that? Once you walk away from it for more then a few days.....it gets forgotten about? Well anyways yesterday I put her on my working table and finally gave her what she`s been waiting for! I must say I really think she just became one of my favorites! Her eyes just seem to talk to you. Can you hear her too? ;)

I will be getting her listed on ebay tonight. Ok let me go while I`m in the mood to create........

Bella`s 1st birthday.....

and for her present she was gifted a visit to the vet....LOL Poor thing she has dermatitis so needed more meds and also is in the midst of a false pregnancy so wanted to make sure everything was ok. See thats what happens when you don`t get them fixed before their first heat...LOL

After the vet visit and her steroid shot it was a good day. She celebrated with Buddy and Tank. The cake of choice was apple pie. I forgot to pick up a girlie hat today so I had to cover an old one with fabric and tinsel purchased from Annie of iblur:

How lucky am I.....

I`am a member of the ebay group Rags to Riches dolls (r2rd) and was so excited that my name was unveiled in a drawing. Many generous members donated prizes and I was lucky enoughy to receive the most amazing pin cushion doll and candle from Jackie of
