Brrrrrr baby it`s cold outside!

Brrrrr a chilly 28 degree`s here today in my neck of the woods. I had shivers to the bone trying to take some pics of my new dollies I just completed. Way to cold outside for that.

Phew this gals parts have been laying around just waiting for me to bring her to life and it looks like today was her lucky day. Chloe may be found this evening on my ebay. I have another idea just nagging away at my brain so off to get started on that now while I`ll can.

It`s been a long day.....

After 6 hours of trick or treating I can say I`am glad to be home. Boy am I beat! We we`re lucky enough to have the rain hold out for us and we just received a quick sprinkle. I hope you we`re just as lucky in your neck of the woods.

Happy Halloween!

Something tells me it`s going to be a L O N G trick or treating day with the girls.Hopefully the rain will hold out. Right now it`s quite dreary out there, but mild. So I guess thats the plus side we surely won`t be cold. It`s strange to see how some years your out there freezing your tush off and other years you can go out without a coat on. You never can tell.

Addie and Ebony

Well I`ve been back at it again full force. With the holidays quickly approaching and kiddies to make happy at Christmas time I must keep these fingers stitchin`. With the economy the way that it is I`am grateful for each and every bid that I receive. If it`s only one I`m still doing my thankful happy dance. I have been looking for work outside the home, but haven`t had success yet. In the meantime I`ll be sitting here in front of my sewing machine stitchin` the day away :)

Diet time for Bella

Bella`s just sitting around taking a load off....LOL It seems that she needs to be cut back from all the eating she`s been doing. Although I love her pudgie lil self to keep her healthy we`ve had to cut her feedings back just a bit. Believe it or not she probably weighs more then my Tank right about now and he`s a bullmastiff. Ok now he is on the slimmer side which is good for him being he has hip dysplasia. I wonder if the food I switched her to has anything to do with it.......HMMMMM Ya see she has dermatitis so she is on natures balance food for allergies. All seriousness though we may also take her in to get her thyroid checked. It`s funny I think we take better care of our dogs then we do ourselves.

Samuel the Scarecrow

I`d like to introduce you to Samuel the scarecrow.He sure is a big fella measuring in at 29" tall. He would make a super doorgreeter. I finally managed to squeak something out for the fall season. I sure did take a long break from sewing this summer, but it`s time for me to get back at it. So I will be moving on to winter creations otherwise I will miss that boat too..... LOL

In just 5 more days, Kindred Sisters Gathering Post will be re opening it`s website. Sara of Graphic Pretties has given us a beautiful new design and we can`t wait to share all our creations with you!

Happy Birthday Buddy

Today would have been my Buddy boys 4th birthday. He was taken from us way to soon. We still miss him and think of him everyday. We love you Bud!

Look at this precious face!

Isn`t he just the sweetest thing. His eyes just seem to speak to you. Ok as you can see I have a love for mastiffs of any kind. I`ve been looking up rescues on the web and keep going back to him daily to see if he`s still there. The poor thing seems to have been abused and has heartworm according to his story. The really strange this is his name is Buddy Boy..... Just like mine that recently passed from lymphoma. I would never want Buddy to think I was replacing him. I sure do hope this fella finds a home soon as he`s tugging on my heartstrings....BIG TIME!

Back at it again....

Well I finally have gotten myself back in the groove. It seems like forever since I have created anything on the sewing machine. Since the opening of the KSGP website I`ve been back at it again. I managed to finish up two more dollies to offer on my ebay and will be back working on new items to have ready for the website on the 1st of june. Here`s a peek at my girls that will go on tonight.




I can`t believe it`s nearing the end of American Idol already and I`m really not sure now who will take first. I thought for a while Adam, but Kris has done so well it`s anyones game now. Who do you want to see win?

A huge Loss

Yesterday was the day that I have dreaded since I first learned Buddy had lymphoma. He took a drastic turn tuesday night and we had to bring him into the vet. I have such an emptiness inside. I`m thankful for being able to do nothing, but lay in the grass with him for 2-1/2 hrs. I love you Buddy and will miss you everyday!

Thank you all so much for your words of comfort. I appreciate each and everyone of you.

Buddy and I thank you...

For all your prayers. He is hanging in there and fighting pretty hard, but clearly it has taken quite a toll. His lymph nodes have continued to grow rather large in his neck, but he is still eating and I thank God for that.

On a lighter note I wanted to share a picture of my bloomed bleeding hearts. I was so excited to see them return this year.



The weather here has been beautiful the last few days. It`s like we skipped over spring and summer arrived although the next couple of days with be in the 60`s. I hope spring has sprung in all your areas too.

My heart is broken.....

I just received the news I was dreading to hear for the last 2 weeks. Buddy has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma. My heart is broken and I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach. He`s 3-1/2 years old and has brought so much joy to all of us. I cannot even think of him not being here with us, but know that it is inevitable. Please pray for him to be pain free. We love him very much.

A night of many tv shows.

Oh boy it will be a big tv night for me. I can`t wait to see that new show In the Motherhood. The coming attractions look hysterical so I`m hoping it will bring many laughs. Who can`t use that..right?

Of course there`s also American Idol which I will have to dvr because I`m a big Greys Anatomy fan so I`ll watch the idol tomorrow. Whats some of your favorites?
